Betty Ann (Lutz) Wallace, age 86, of Stone Mountain, GA passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday March 13, 2015. She was born on April 22, 1928 in Knoxville, TN to Jack and Evelyn Lutz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Henry Wallace and son in law, Doug Trice. Betty was a vibrant person all of her life and very talented in many areas. She was very musically inclined. She was known by many as "Bongo Betty". She was active in The Georgia Classic Club, performed with the "Dazzlin' Dames," was inducted into the Georgia Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame and flew her own plane in her earlier years. Surviving are her daughters; Susan (Clarence) Ybos, Jennifer Trice; grandchildren, Ryan Currey, Kevin Currey, Toby (Katherine) Trice, Julie (Ben) Tanner, Stephanie (Scott) Anderson; Great Grandchildren, Ava, Keira and Trice Tanner, Brendan Trice and Elijah Anderson. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. and visitation will be on Monday March 16, 2015 from 5-8 P.M. Entombment services to follow at Arlington Memorial Park. Those desiring memorials may contribute in memoriam to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
