Betty Jones Clark, 87, of Decatur, beloved wife and mother, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018. Born March 10, 1931 in Pineview, GA, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Rosa Cranford Jones. Betty spent her career as a teacher for both Cobb and Fulton County. She was a church librarian and Sunday school teacher for the Lutheran Church of the Messiah and enjoyed reading and listening to gospel music. During Desert Storm she spent hours sending letters and packages to the service men and women, many of whom kept in touch with her through the years and even came to visit her.
Betty is survived by her son, Randy Clark; daughters, Cindy Clark, Cathy Clark, and Christy Clark and her husband, Mike Bayne; and many more loving family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Lee Clark, Jr.; brother, Ronald Jones; and sister, Marie Phagan.
