Betty June Warlick

Betty Sinnock Warlick, age 99, of Huntington, WV, passed away on January 3, 2021. During WWII, Betty served as a Seaman First Class. She was a finalist in a Navy beauty pageant. She met and married Lt. Wilbur W Warlick while stationed at Corpus Christi Naval Air Station. Betty was active in Navy Wives Clubs during her husband's career. Later, Betty retired as an Administrative Assistant from the Maryland State Department of Education. Betty was a loving wife and mother who will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Warlick was preceded in death by her husband, CDR Warlick, USN(ret). She is survived by her two children, son David C Warlick of Decatur, GA, and daughter Barbara Warlick Bruce of Newport News, VA, her daughter-in-law Carol S Warlick, and her son-in-law Billy Bruce. Betty has five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren include Kerry Bruce Chou (Poquoson, VA), Emily Warlick Milikow (Israel), Cynthia Warlick Stemple (Atlanta, GA), Benjamin J Warlick (Atlanta, GA), and Jesse H Warlick (Denver, CO).

We will remember Betty's love of clothes, fashion, and jewelry. She was always dressed to the nines. We will forever remember her love of beauty, her easy happiness, and her quick joyous laugh.

Betty will be buried beside her husband at Arlington National Cemetary.
