Bill Gerald Kilgore

Bill Kilgore, 76, of Decatur passed away on Tuesday September 30, 2014. He was born in Bristol, Virginia and served in the U.S. Navy. He went on to retire from Atlanta Gas and Light Company. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Iris Spikes Kilgore, who died in April 2013 and is survived by son and daughter in law, Gerald and Patti Kilgore of Loganville; grandchildren Ashley and Aaron Kilgore; sister Betty Owens. His funeral services will be held on Saturday October 4th in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons at 11:00 am with Rev. Ken Owens, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Shadow Lawn Cemetery, LaGrange, GA at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
