Bonnie C. Pefinis, 90, of Atlanta died peacefully at her home Thursday, April 2, 2015. The fifth of eight children, she was born to John and Olive Creeger in Thurmont, Maryland. She moved to Atlanta during WWII and met her now deceased husband, Harry James Pefinis. She is survived by daughter Connie Elvin and husband Frank of Apple Valley, Minnesota and son Jim Pefinis and wife Pamela of Cumming, Georgia; five grand-children, Scott Elvin (wife, Mousumi), Susie Konkol, Nick Pefinis (wife, Andrea), Steven Pefinis (wife, Stephanie), and Russell Pefinis; five great grand-children, Kayli and Rohan Elvin, Alaina Konkol, and Naomi and Hudson Pefinis; and sisters Sarah Custer, Susie Cook, and Sylvia Burtner. A memorial service is scheduled for 10am at Kings Bridge Retirement Center, 3055 Briarcliff Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30329, on Friday, April 10, followed by a visitation until noon.
