Bonnie Jean Wiggins

Bonnie Jean Wiggins, age 79, of Decatur, Ga, was welcomed into the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday October 21st, 2015. She is survived by her High School sweetheart of 58 years, Raymond H. Wiggins; son, Kenneth R. Wiggins; daughter, Julie V. Donaldson; granddaughters, Maggie Anne Wiggins and Sarah Jean Wiggins; and grandsons, Matthew Donaldson and Andrew Donaldson. Jean was born in Thomaston, Ga and resided in Decatur for over 50 years where she raised her beloved son and daughter. Jean attended nursing school at Crawford W. Long and worked over 40 years in both Geriatrics and Obstetrics. She retired from Wesley Woods in 2004. Jean loved cooking, baking, reading, visiting the beach, and spending time with her precious family. Memorial services will be held on Sunday October, 25th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, Ga. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on behalf of Raymond Wiggins to Alzheimer's Association Georgia 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550 Atlanta, GA 30346.
