Boyce Haywood Gault, Jr

Boyce H. Gault, Jr. 76 of Jacksonville, FL and Atlanta, GA went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 28, 2015. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5 pm at A.S. Turner & Sons in Decatur, GA.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Deborah Cook Gault; sister, Elaine Gault Phifer of Kings Mountain, NC; son, Boyce H. Gault III and his wife Arlene of Matthews, NC; daughter, Gina Gault Sides and husband Chris of Alpharetta, GA; and grandchildren, Bethany Sides, Caleb Sides and Boyce Gault IV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyce H. Gault Sr., and Edith Bennett Gault of Kings Mountain, NC.

He was a graduate of Kings Business College in Charlotte, NC and LSU's Banking School of the South. After 17 years, Boyce retired from SunGard Data Systems. He spent over 40 years in banking and financial services and was a genuine and natural relationship builder.

Boyce was an accomplished fly and surf fisherman and dearly loved time spent near the water. His friends knew him as a sportsman, craftsman, storyteller and martini expert. He will be remembered as an honorable and precious husband, father, and most truly as a southern gentleman. His family and friends will always cherish memories of his happy life.
