Boyd W. Nix

March 3, 1934 — September 4, 2010

Mr. Boyd W. Nix, 76, a longtime resident of Tucker, died Saturday, September 4, 2010. He retired from General Motors Corporation after many years of service. Mr. Nix is survived by his wife, Peggy Nix; daughter, Beth Ryder; son, Steven Nix; three grandchildren, Andy Ryder, Jeff Ryder, Stephanie Nix; and three great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8pm Sunday and Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
