Brenda Diane Blalock

Brenda Cochran Blalock, 66, of Locust Grove, beloved wife and mother, passed away on April 14, 2018. She was born in Griffin, Georgia on June 16, 1951. Brenda enjoyed cooking, crocheting, reading, playing Bingo with her resident friends, and caring for her grandchildren.

Brenda is survived by her three daughters, Tonya Meredith and her husband, James, Carmon Blalock, and Christy Matlock and her husband, Rick; son, James Blalock and his wife, Laura; grandchildren, Keith Matlock, Ashley Pyle, Kaylee Hansard, Logan Meredith, Shelby Blalock, Ryland Meredith, and Gage Blalock; and many more loving family and friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Blalock.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Melwood Cemetery, Stone Mountain.
