Mr. Brian Andrew Spruell, age 23, of Lilburn died August 23, 2009. Brian attended Greater Atlanta Christian and graduated from Parkview High School where he won a statewide DECA award for marketing. He attended Georgia State University and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. His interests included acting, lacrosse and photography. He is survived by his parents, Dr. Hugh and Nancy Spruell; daughter, Kierstin Michelle Spruell and her mother, Christina McCorkle; brother, Blue and wife Mitsuko Spruell; brother, Stephen and wife Toshie Spruell; sister, Alexandra Outlaw; brother, Kyle Hudson; fiancée, Jacqueline Favara; maternal grandparents, Paige and Louise Choate; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 26 in the Chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons, Dr. Richard Hunter and Dr. Walter Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Atlanta Humane Society, 981 Howell Mill Rd., Atlanta, GA 30318. The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
