Canary White, Jr.

Canary White, Jr. died Saturday, December 20, 2008.  He was preceded in death by his father, Canary W. White, Sr. and sister, Evelyn White. He is survived by his wife, Jessie White of Decatur; daughters, Linda White of Decatur & Regina Fleming of Bermuda; son, Daryl White of Avondale Estates; mother, Mamie Pearl White of Sandersville; sisters, Thena White of New York City, Eunice White of Lithonia, Yvonne White Roberts of Decatur, Doris White of Sandersville & Christine Blackwell of Atlanta; brothers, Milton White of Tennile & Marion White of Sandersville; seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Church of Atlanta Lighthouse, Inc. with Bishop Michael D. Spires officiating.  Interment will be in Melwood Cemetery.  Visitors may call at from 10 AM to 8 PM Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
