Carol Cancelliere of Glastonbury, CT passed away on March 27, 2017 in Atlanta, GA, surrounded by her family after a long battle with rheumatoid arthritis.
Carol was born in Hartford, CT to her parents Augusta and John Denalsky. She lived in Rocky Hill and Glastonbury, CT for most of her life, until her recent move to Atlanta, GA.
Carol was a graduate of the University of Bridgeport, and had a long and dedicated career as a Dental Hygienist. She was also a very caring mother of two children, and greatly enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening. In her retirement, Carol was an active volunteer at the Clark House in Glastonbury and The Villages for Families and Children of Greater Hartford. Carol also enjoyed being an active member of the Garden Club of Glastonbury.
Carol never met a stranger. She was outgoing and friendly to all, and will be greatly missed by her friends and family, who will always remember her for her kindness and generosity, sense of humor and smile.
Carol is survived by her mother, Augusta Denalsky of Cape Cod, MA, son Robert, grandsons Nicholas and John Hayes, all of Atlanta, sister Joan Coughlin of Cape Cod, MA and brother John Denalsky of Bowling Green, OH. Carol is predeceased by her precious daughter, Suzanne.
A memorial service will be held in Glastonbury, CT at a later date.
