Carol Bridges – Hawkins was born Carol Ann Williams on February 28, 1959 to Edward and Jessie Williams in Saint Louis, Missouri. Carol graduated from Beaumont High School in Saint Louis, Missouri, earned her Bachelor's in Administration of Justice from Portland State University, and her Master's in Human Services from Liberty University.
She was an individual and family therapist who built a long career in assisting those in need. She loved music and to sing. She loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Carol returned to Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 26, 2015 and has been reunited with her parents and other family gone before.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband – Joe E. Hawkins Jr.; daughter – Loren P. Williams; son – Joseph E. Hawkins; step-daughter and son-in-law - Vanika and Carlos Walcott; sister – Ingrid Williams; brother and sister-in-law – Myron and Veronica Williams; father-in-law – Joe E. Hawkins Sr.; brothers-in-law – Johnny, Emmett, and Shelby Hawkins; sister-in-law – Tameka Hawkins; grandchildren – Chase S. Williams, Carlos Jr, Leilo, and Chelsea Walcott; aunt – Georgia M. Stewart; nieces – Erica, Ariel and Aja Williams; nephew – Jabril Williams; her extended daughters – Marquetta Irons, DaRaya Larry, and LaTosha Lewis; and a host of many other close family and long-time friends.
