Carol Elizabeth Carlson

Carol E. Carlson, 94, passed peacefully into God's presence on Thursday, February 12, 2015. She was born at home in Stockhold Township, Minnesota. Carol was graduated as valedictorian from Dassel High School and received a Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology from the University of Minnesota. She was a loving wife of 59 years to Marvin Carlson who predeceased her. Carol was a caring mother to Richard Carlson, Bev (Ray) Munsterman, Barbara (David) Hayward, Jim (Lisa) Carlson, and Merrilee Carlson; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Richard (Marilyn) Carlson, Margaret (Robert) Fallt, Marilyn (Chris) Vatsaas and Ralph Carlson. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 28, from 2-5pm at A.S.Turner Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, March 1 at 2pm at First Alliance Church, 2512 N. Druid Hills Rd., Atlanta, Georgia 30329. Dr. Walter Sandell and Dr. Kevin Goins will be officiating at First Alliance Church.
