Carol Fulkerson

Notice is given of the death of Carol Jean Stuckey Fulkerson, 86, on September 9, 2024. Carol was born in East St. Louis but grew up in Dupo. She was an active member of the BSU at SIU in Carbondale, where she graduated with a degree in early childhood education. Carol was a faithful Pastor's wife at Lakeland Church in Carbondale, Bethel in Danville and Westview in Belleville. She and her husband, William (Bill) were appointed Home Missionaries to serve in the inner city of Louisville, Kentucky. They eventually moved to Atlanta where they continued as Home Missionaries. Carol is preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Robert and Don Stuckey. She is survived by her husband of 65 years and sons, Bruce and Brent. Burial is in Snellville, Georgia.
