CAROL J. HAM, 88, died April 23, 2009 in Atlanta, GA. Carol was born May 22, 1920 in Freeport, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Montgomery Ham. She was the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. P.C. James of Houston TX. She is survived by daughter Linda G. Ham of Lilburn, GA; two sons, Dr. Donald J. Ham of Alamogordo, NM and Paul D. Ham of Raleigh NC; sister, Lois Ireland of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Joanna, Roger, Matthew and Alexa; and 5 great grandchildren. Carol was a graduate of the North Avenue Presbyterian School, and had worked for Hartford Fire Insurance Company, George J. Meyer Manufacturing, and The Mission Society. She worked tirelessly for the Lord as a Sunday School teacher for 38 years, and as a member of the Gideon Woman’s Auxiliary. She had most recently been a member of the First Alliance Church in Atlanta. A memorial service will be held Monday April 27 at 2pm at the First Alliance Church (2512 N. Druid Hills Rd.
