Caroline Welch

Miss Caroline Welch of Atlanta died Wednesday, July 11, 2007.  She was an active lifetime member of the Atlanta Baptist Tabernacle, attended the University of Georgia and was an avid Bulldog fan.  Miss Welch worked for over thirty years for the Peachtree Podiatry Group and was a member and past president of the American Podiatric Medical Assistants Association.  She is survived by her sister, Joan Welch of Atlanta; brother, A. Clarence Welch, Jr. of Decatur; nephews, Kelly Welch of Charleston, SC and Joe Welch of Norfolk, VA; great niece and great nephews, Chelsea Welch, Christopher Welch, Andrew Welch and Spencer Welch.  Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Saturday, July 14, 2007 with Rev. Jerry Tyler officiating.  Interment will be in Arlington Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
