Carolyn Black Kidd

Kidd, Carolyn (Black), of Decatur, GA passed away September 8, 2022. Carolyn was born August 27, 1938 in Atlanta, Georgia to parents John Montgomery Black and Juanita Mae Black. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Montgomery Black and Juanita Mae (Jessee) Black, and brother, James Robert Black.

She is survived by her sister, Linda (Black) Harris and Lynda Dianne (Pittman) Twilley, her Life Partner of 38 years

Carolyn graduated from Southwest Dekalb High School, class of 1957. She retired from Kraft Foods, where she was the first Female Sales Representative in Kraft’s South East Region.

Carolyn taught scrapbooking classes for several years at Fernbank in Atlanta, Georgia, while a Creative Memories Consultant. Genealogy was a personal hobby for many years.

The family would like to thank all of the caregivers with Senior Mission Personal Care and Agape Hospice for the wonderful care they extended to Carolyn.
