Carolyn Parker Wilson was born in Atlanta to Louie and Leila Parker and she attended the old O'Keefe High School in Midtown. She was proceeded in death by her parents and sisters Ann Reagin, Jerry Dyer and Patricia Freeman. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Ralph E. "Teddy" Wilson, Jr. and children Wanda Stephens and husband, Rilo; Todd Wilson and wife, Alaina; grandchildren Patrick Stephens and wife Stacey; Elizabeth Stephens; Jessica Wilson; Brian Wilson; Troy Wilson; sister Martha Parker Miller and many other loving in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. Carolyn, who was a well known member of the Pea Ridge community, was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She was a great cook known for her cream and custard pies. Carolyn and her husband were longtime members of Rehoboth Baptist Church in Decatur. The funeral services will be held at Rehoboth Baptist Church on Friday, February 21st at 2pm. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive visitors at A.S. Turner and Sons in Decatur on Thursday, February 20th from 6-9pm. Donations can be made in Carolyn's honor to the American Kidney Fund.
