Carolyn Sue Watson

Carolyn Ray Watson, loving mother and wife, was called to come home by our Lord and Savior on Friday, September 6th 2013. Carolyn was born in Knoxville, TN and was a long time resident of Savannah, Georgia before moving to Atlanta over 20 years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband James Pope Watson, III on February 14 of this year. She was a resident of Sunrise of Buckhead Assisted Living. She is survived by her daughter Martha (Terry) Shreve; son Joe Nickerson and his partner Marc Browning; two grandsons, Christopher (Lisa) Tabakian and Bryan (Traci) Tabakian. Also surviving are her six great grandchildren; a sister Barbara Bales of Maryville, TN; a brother-in-law Gerald Christian of Columbia, SC and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services for Carolyn Ray Watson will be held in the Chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home September 14th at 1:00 PM. The family will receive guests at 12:00 PM. Friends and family will gather at the home of Joe and Marc following the service.
