TUTEN, Carolyn Franncis

Carolyn Francis Tuten, age 78, of Atlanta, GA went Home to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 7th, 2015 after a lengthy illness. She was born on December 14, 1936 to the late Irene Welborn Boling and the late Rayford Boling of Greenville, South Carolina. Mrs. Tuten retired from Kroger after 25 years of service as a cashier. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Tony Clark, and her husband of 41 years, Earl R. Tuten. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Elaine and Steve Sexton of Mount Airy, GA; her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Judy Clark of Snellville, GA; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Jerry Boling of Greenville, SC and many other family members and friends who loved her. Visitation will be Monday, February 9, 2015 from 6 until 8 pm at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held in Greenville, SC at McAfee Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 6 until 8 pm. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of McAfee Funeral Home at Noon on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 with the Reverend Steve Sexton officiating. The families are at their respective homes.
