Catherine Clardy Gaston

Mrs. Catherine Clardy Gaston, 88, of Decatur, died Saturday, July l0, 2004.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Decatur and recently attended Highlands Presbyterian Church in Grayson.  Formerly of Americus, GA, she has been a resident of Clairmont Oaks in Decatur for a number of years. She was the wife of O. L. Gaston who died in 1992. She raised her four children with love and great attention.  She is survived by her two daughters, Gail O?Farrell and her husband George of Lilburn, Emily Temple, widow of Jule Temple, Jr., of Hartwell; two sons, Jack Gaston and his wife Barbara of Unadilla, Lee Gaston and his wife Michele of Martinez; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 13, at 11:00 am in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons.  Rev. Mark Hornby will officiate.  Interment will be at Wadley Cemetery, in Wadley, Alabama at 3 pm CST.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highlands Presbyterian Church, 830 Grayson Parkway, Grayson, GA 30017.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons.
