Catherine Rainey

Catherine Rainey, 84, of Clarkston died Friday, November 16, 2007.  She was a life long member of Clarkston First Baptist Church.  Surviving are her loving and devoted husband of 65 years, B.E. Rainey; daughter, Denise Rainey; sons, Dwight Rainey, Barry Rainey, Garry Rainey; 2 granddaughters, Christi Miller, Shawn Thomas Hummel; 1 brother, John Robert King; 2 sisters, Lucille Chapman, Geraldine Satterfield; and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 18th at two-thirty in the afternoon in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Steve Hammack officiating.  Interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dekalb County Humane Society.  The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from three until five o'clock at A. S. Turner & Sons.
