Cecil Isaiah Waites

Cecil Isaiah Waites, 82 of Decatur, Ga. Passed away, Thursday, September 29, 2016 at his home from cardiac arrest. Cecil was born on October, 25 1933 in Conyers, Ga. to Julian and Lorene Waites. On March, 21 1954 he married the love of his live Chotsy Wasdin Waites in Jesup, Ga. In 1956, Cecil joined the US Army where he served his country and was educated in electrical engineering / construction. In short order, he began his own electrical contracting company Atlanta, Ga., Later in his career, he served as an electrical engineer at Marta and Atlanta Airport. He loved spending time with his family and friends at the beach, camping, fishing and hunting. He was an active member of the Free Masons rising to the role of Master Mason. He was a hard working, loving and deeply honest man. He was preceded in passing by his brother, Johnnie Waites. Cecil is survived by wife, Chotsy W. Waites; son, Adam T. Waites, daughter-in-law, Olivia H, Waites, granddaughter, Alexandria E. Waites; sister-in-law's, Gail Wasdin and Mary Waites;niece's, Becky Jordan (John, Luke, Jessica) and Satina Waites; nephew, Andy Lockwood and two cousins. Memorial may be made to Holy Trinity Parrish Episcopal Church. A private family ceremony will be held on Monday, October 3 2016 at 2:00 pm at Holy Trinity Parrish Episcopal Church, 515 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Decatur, GA 30030, Rev.
