December 16, 1925 — April 15, 2017

Cecil Wesley Brooks, 91, of Lilburn, passed away on April 15, 2017 at his home in Lilburn, GA. Cecil was happily married to the love of his life Evie Ruth McTier Brooks for 65 years. He was a member of Member of Briarlake Baptist Men's Bible Class for over 40 years, He was an avid gardener and fisherman and loved watching college football, the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons. Cecil worked as a Manager for B&D Cafeteria @ Georgia State with his brothers for over 45 years. Cecil is survived by his children, Kenneth and Linda Brooks, Gary and Pam Brooks, Janet Brooks, Jeff Brooks; six grandsons, Kyle Brooks, Daniel Brooks, Wesley Brooks, Mac Brooks, Reed Brooks, Cooper Brooks; and brother, Loyd Brooks; . Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, 2:00 pm at the A. S. Turner and Sons Chapel, Decatur, GA, with Rev. Larry Sullivan, officiating interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
