Chandler-Ross Micah Weaver was born on December 21, 1998, at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, GA to the proud parents of Glenn R. & Darlene M. Weaver. He would prove to be their pride & joy, being their one and only child.
Being an only child, Chandler-Ross’s parents chose home schooling for him. Due to the lower student to teacher ratio, their goal was to give him a safe, structured environment that nurtured learning. Like most parents, Glenn & Darlene wanted Chandler-Ross to develop a strong sense of self and to learn good work ethics. Chandler-Ross graduated high school in 2016.
Chandler-Ross’s parents taught him to know and love his Grand Creator, Jehovah God. He was regular in attendance with them at the Christian meetings of Jehovah’s Witnesses. It was his habit to accompany his parents out in the ministry. Once in a conversation with a brother, Chandler-Ross shared that one of his fondest memories was when he and his family joined others from his congregation to spend time witnessing in unassigned territory, in a small town located in Alabama.
During his teenage years, his Mom had health issues that required Chandler-Ross to assume a large role in her care-giving. Chandler-Ross freely and without complaint, assumed that role with a sense of compassion, care and self-sacrifice. Later, when his Dad experienced a bout of ill-health that required Chandler-Ross to serve as his chief care-giver, with no hesitation he enthusiastically did so, providing care with the same spirit of self-sacrifice, kindness & vigilance.
Given life circumstances, Chandler-Ross had not yet found full-time employment. Yet, he reaped the fruitage of his schooling in that he developed a strong sense of self, in that he wanted to work, to carry his load. To that end, Chandler-Ross was enrolled in an online course learning computer electronics. While waiting for Dollar Tree to call him back as a part-time stocker; Chandler-Ross industriously canvassed his neighbors looking for gigs or odd jobs. One neighbor, who owned horses, especially came to value Chandler-Ross’s love for working with his hands. She started utilizing & even enhancing his skills, by using and training him to do repairs and handy work related to her horse farm.
Chandler-Ross was quiet yet when you stopped to talk with him, you’d find he was very conversational, humble, engaging, respectful; he had a way of touching your heart, drawing you in. He loved sports. Important to Chandler-Ross was finding and developing healthy friendships.

Family & Friends… Never has Jehovah’s promise meant so much to me as it does now - that his thoughts toward me are of peace - that he will give me a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:1. It is all of his trustworthy promises that is daily giving me hope and it is such hope that is making me see a truly beautiful future. ~Glenn R. Weaver~
