Charles A. Auclair

Mr. Charles A. Auclair, age 90, died Friday, April 13, 2007. A native of Atlanta and longtime Decatur resident, he graduated from Druid Hills High School and Georgia Tech with a degree in Civil Engineering. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. At his retirement, he was employed by Abreau and Robeson Architects. His wife was the late Margaret Byrum Auclair. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia A. Hawkins (Edward) of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Jennifer Jameson (Clint) of Mobile, A, Jonathan Hawkins (Amy) of Atlanta, GA, Joanna Hawkins of San Francisco, CA; great grandchildren, William and Ella. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 17th at 1:00 P.M. at Decatur Cemetery. Rev. Jill Oglesby Evans will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home.
