Mr. Charles “Benny” Cox, Jr., 67, of Roswell, GA died Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Benny was a loyal member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 72 for 42 years. He graduated from Bass High School in 1960, where he was a star athlete. Surviving are his wife of 23 years, Carol Ann Cox; daughters and sons-in-law, Robin A. Johnson and Nicholas, Penny L. Landro and Chris; sons and daughters-in-law, David C. Youngblood and Kimberly, Justin Youngblood and Patria; nine grandchildren; brother, Michael Cox; and several cousins. Memorial services will be held Sunday, April 18 at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Deacon Nicholas Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Benny’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, 3 Corporate Sq., Suite 120, Atlanta, GA 30329. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 P.M. until the hour of service at A. S. Turner & Sons.
