Charles C. Wilson

Mr. Charles C. Wilson, of Tucker, GA, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2005.  Charlie was born September 20, 1919 to Robert and Bonnie Wilson in Charlotte, NC.  He proudly served his country in World War II, and spent the majority of his business career with John B. Daniel, Inc. in Atlanta.  In 1941, he married Helen Elizabeth Nash and together had three children.  He will be missed greatly by his children and grandchildren.  His gentle spirit and kind heart will be missed by many.  Charlie is survived by his son, Doug Wilson, wife Linda; and two grandchildren, Tonya and Todd; daughter, Carol Dobbs, husband Gary; two sisters, Mrs. Nell Phillips of Poquoson, VA; and Mrs. Pat Aspray of Greenville, SC and his three loving care givers, Ann Marie Downes Lewis, Ena DeRoza, and Sonia King. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 23rd at Tucker First United Methodist Church, 5095 LaVista Rd., Tucker, GA, 30084.  Rev. Tom Pilgrim will officiate.  Interment will be at Hillandale Memorial Gardens in Lithonia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL  60601-7633. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 22nd at A. S. Turner & Sons.
