Charles Edward Todd

Charles Edward Todd, Jr., 67, of Atlanta, GA passed away on December 11, 2019 in the loving company of his family. Born on January 11, 1952 and raised in Atlanta, he attended Lakeside High School and Georgia Southern College. In 1976 he married the love of his life, Debbie. Together they celebrated 43 years of marriage on August 28, 2019. Charlie deeply loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them and sharing stories and fond memories. His favorite pastimes were boating, water skiing, college football and spending time outdoors hunting and birdwatching. He also had a great passion for horticulture and gardening. The highlight of his life in recent years was spending time with his three grandchildren. His playful, kind and caring spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by parents, Dr. Charles Edward Todd, Sr. and Marion Barber Todd. Survived by his beloved wife, Debbie; son, Cal Todd (wife Daniela); daughter, Cara Payne (husband Travis); son, Cole Todd (wife Sarah Beth); granddaughter, Reagan Marie Payne; granddaughter, Hallie Ellen Payne; grandson, Jackson Thomas Todd; brother, Bob Todd; and brother, Patrick Todd.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation at 1:00 p.m. at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, 2773 N. Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30033.
