Charles Lloyd Freeman

Charles Lloyd Freeman III died Thursday, May 19, 2005 in Atlanta.  Mr. Freeman was a 1954 graduate of the University of Georgia, receiving the honor of Who's Who of American Colleges and Universities, Dean's List, Honor Roll, and treasurer of Sibma Kappa Chi Fraternity.  Mr. Freeman retired from General Motors Acceptance Corporation after 33 years of service.  He served in the Naval Air Reserve in the 1960's and was an active member of the Jaycees in the 1960's and the 1970's. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dorothy Johns Freeman; son, Charles Lloyd Freeman IV; daughter, Christina Louise Freeman; daughter-in-law, Sharon S. Freeman; grandchildren, Charles Lloyd Freeman V and Jennifer Michelle Freeman, all of Walton County. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 23rd with Rev. Michael Johns officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington, GA.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
