Charles M. Spivey

Mr. Charles M. Spivey, age 82, of Stone Mountain died Monday, March 17, 2008. He was the beloved husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ben Spivey; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Cathy Spivey of Monroe; daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Alan Sims of Monroe; grandchildren, Brian Spivey, Michael Spivey and Gena Abraham, Charles Sims and Selena, and Christopher Sims; brother, Hugh Spivey of Stone Mountain; sisters, Hattie Almand of Covington, Jenny Ragsdale of Lithonia; and other loving family members. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 19th at 11 AM at Zi0n Baptist Church, Rev. David Martin, Rev. Tolbert Moore and Rev. Cedric Banks officiating. Burial will follow in Melwood Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted but those desiring may send contributions to Zion Baptist Church, c/o Walter Sheppard, P. O. Box 231, Good Hope, GA 30641. The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 8 PM Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
