Charles W. Cross, age 87, of Tucker, GA passed away Tuesday March 27, 2007. Mr. Cross was a native of Kansas City, Kansas where he graduated from the University of Kansas. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, where he served proudly in the Pacific and also of the Korean War. Mr. Cross married the girl of his dreams, Margaret Phillips and enjoyed many wonderful years with her before she preceded him in death in 1995. Together they made a life in Kansas City, then Chicago before moving to Tucker in 1969 where Mr Cross founded Cross Adhesives. Mr. Cross enjoyed a rich and fulfilling life. He was a proud husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a life-long golfer, a world traveler, a business man and an eternal optimist who will be dearly remembered by friends around the world and a family who dearly loved him. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Faye Cross; his granddaughter Catherine Anne Covalt, grandsons Michael John Pratt and Robert Charles (Charlie) Cross as well as great-grandchildren and many dear friends he considered family. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the charity of your choice. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home 2773 North Decatur Road Decatur, GA 30033 at 2:00 pm Friday March 30, 2007. Visitation will be Thursday, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
