Charline "Chuckie" Towles

Charline Towles, otherwise known to her friends and family as Chuckie, was born on January 22, 1927 and passed away on February 13, 2017 in Stone Mountain GA. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Robert Towles. Through her life, she was active in the community volunteering at the elementary schools her 3 children attended, and as a Den Mother to her youngest sons Cub Scouts. She later because involved with the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in DeKalb County. At Callanwolde she helped organize art exhibits and worked on Christmas at Callanwolde. Along with her husband Bob was a member of Druid Hill Country Club where she served on numerous committees.

Mrs. Towles is survived by her 3 children Bob, Kathy and Stephen, daughter in law Laura, and 6 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb17th at 2PM at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Decatur Ga. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to The American Cancer Society, or Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
