Charlotte Anne Counts

Charlotte Anne Brown Counts, 77, of Decatur, GA passed away on Friday October 4, 2019.

She was born to William Franklin Brown and Jimmie Mae Hinson on January 4, 1942 in Milledgeville, GA. She graduated Baldwin High School, Class of 1960 and then she attended Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville. Later she graduated from Crandall Business College in Macon and retired from Emory as a secretary.

She was preceded in death by husband, DeWitt Baker Counts and her son, John Dewitt Counts and is survived by her sister, Beth Brown of Rio Rancho, NM; brother, Rev. Charles Brown of Maryville, TN; niece, Melanie Brown of Hickory, NC; nephew, Michael Brown of Greenville, SC.

Her funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday October 9th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Jill Joyner officiating. Interment will follow in Melwood Cemetery, Stone Mountain.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday morning beginning at 9:30 am up to service time at A. S. Turner and Sons Decatur, GA.
