Charlotte Hawthorne Miller

Charlotte Hawthorne Miller, 77, of Stone Mountain, beloved wife and mother, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018. Born in Eustis, Florida on April 26, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sara Jane Reaves Hawthorne. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, enjoyed watching sports and was an avid football fan.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jon Paul Miller; daughter, Jonna Knight and her husband, Greg; daughter-in-law, Donna Lynes Miller; grandchildren, Savannah and JT Knight; and many more loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Jon Miller.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service to be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday May 17, 2018 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, Decatur.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlotte Miller's name to Susan G. Komen Foundation or to any other breast cancer research/foundation of your choice.
