Christa Antoinette Alfaro

Christa Ahrens Alfaro passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013. Christa was born in Neumunster, Germany on June 6, 1936. She is survived by her husband, Zosimo (Sammy) Alfaro, from Chile, as well as her family in Germany, including her sister and brother-in-law, Ingrid and Gerhard Gatke, her nieces and nephews, Maren and Tobias Beelitz and Suzanne and Volker Clausen, and their children Swen, Freya and Bjorn Clausen. Christa worked for The Hartford Insurance Company from 1980 until 2002 when she retired. A viewing will be held at A.S. Turner & Sons on Friday, February 8th from 5pm – 8pm and again on Saturday, February 9th from 11am – 12pm. A procession to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church will begin at 12pm for the funeral mass at 1pm. There will be a private burial. A reception will follow the funeral service at The Petite Auberge in the Toco Hills Shopping Center, 2935 N. Druid Hills Rd NE, Atlanta. A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
