Christian Noah Sanford, April 1, 2006 - June 30, 2011 Beloved son, age 5, born in Providence, Rhode Island, Christian moved with his family to Stone Mountain, Georgia, in September 2008. Christian is survived by his parents, James Sanford, Sr. and Susanna Sanford of Stone Mountain, Georgia, his brothers Micah and James, his sister, Emma, his grandparents, John Sanford, Sr. and Gladys Sanford of Coventry, Rhode Island, his grandfather, Oden L. Woodward II of Stone Mountain, Georgia, his grandparents Linda Hendrix Yates and Alan Yates of Concord, New Hampshire, aunts and uncles, John Sanford, Jr. of Coventry, Rhode Island, Sarah Woodward and Jonathan Lee of Atlanta, Georgia, John and Heather Sauerbrey of Coventry, Rhode Island, and Stephen Woodward and Melissa East of Marietta, Georgia. Christian loved playing with his brothers and spoiling his sister. Christian loved spending time with his daddy most of all, working on projects, taking drives, often declaring he would grow up to be just like daddy. He wanted to do whatever his father was doing. Christian preferred flashlights and tools over toys, and working in the yard to watching TV or playing video games. Christian loved seafood and tea. The void he left can never be filled. We love you so much, our beautiful boy. We can't wait to hold you in heaven. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held at A.S. Turner and Sons, 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30033 on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain.
