Christina Biggers White, 83, died unexpectedly at her home this past Friday, May 20, 2005. She is predeceased by her husband of 56 years, John D. White. A fourth  generation Atlantan,  she was a descendent of one of the original pioneers of Atlanta, Dr. Stephen T. Biggers. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart School. Spry and energetic to the end, she had just returned from a trip to Denver to visit her two sons. A devoted wife and a loving and beloved mother and grandmother, she leaves behind to cherish her memory and grieve her loss her six children, spouses and grandchildren. They are daughter, Anne and her husband Robert Jordan of Lilburn; son, John white and his wife Chris of Centennial, CO; son, Allan White and his wife Judy of Lilburn, GA; daughter, Ellen Slade and her husband Mike Manuel of Roswell, GA; and sons, Joe White of Longmont, CO and William White of Navarre, FL. Grandchildren are Jennifer Franz, Dylan White, Evan White, Emily Slade, and Dustin White.  She is also survived by her brother, Rev. C. J. Biggers and sister, Mary B. Stine of Longwood, FL; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 27th at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Father James Schillinger officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
