Clara Crook Davis

Mrs. Clara C. Davis, of Atlanta GA, died peacefully Wednesday, February 6, 2008, after an extended stay in Budd Terrace Nursing Home. She had just celebrated her 85th birthday 11 days prior to her passing.  She was born in Bishop, GA in 1923 and lived in Atlanta since 1946.  Clara was a member of Peachtree Baptist Church, the Lidia Sunday School class, the Eula Brownlee Mission Group, and the LaVista Women's Club.  She is survived by her sister, Ms. Hazel Trickel of Athens, GA; her half brother, Paul Crook of West Point, GA; niece, Sherry Trickel of Athens, GA; and several nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 11th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Dr. Robert Walker, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Peachtree Baptist Church in memory of Clara C. Davis. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
