Clara Roper Greene

Mrs. Clara Mae Greene, 83, of Decatur died Wednesday, June 3, 2009.  Mrs. Greene retired from Gulf Life Insurance Company. She is survived by her son, Jim Cochran and his wife Judy of Arlington, TX; grandson, Michael Cochran, wife Windy and great grandson, Ethan, of Atlanta; grandson, Jeff Cochran, wife Stephany and great grandsons, Graham and Wesley of Arlington, TX; ex husband and best friend, Donald Greene; in-laws, Betty Roper and Dot Greene; and many nieces and nephews and life long friends. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11 a.m. Friday, June5th. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
