Claudia Louise Jackson

Claudia Louise (Williams) Jackson, 82, passed peacefully into the eternity late evening January 27, 2013. A 35 year resident of Forest Park, Mrs. Jackson was surrounded by loved ones at the home of her daughter and son in law, where she has resided for the past 6 years. She was born June 18, 1930 in Westminster, South Carolina to William Allen and Leah Delaine (Collins) Williams. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by husband of 37 years Thomas William Jackson, and daughters MaryJean ( Jeanie ) Macie May 28, 1996 and Betty Wright January 26, 2013, and Grandson Joshua Derrick Reagin July, 9th 2005.
Mrs. Jackson (Mawmaw) had "a little bit of love for everybody", and a lot of love for the Braves. As a caregiver in the Armed forces hospitals, and then a faithful 17 years as greeter at Waffle House, mawmaw was in the business of serving others. She was known for her loving ways , her love of music, "slow dances at the waffle house", quick wit, memorable stories and … "jokes", she always left you with a smile.
Surviving mawmaw are her daughter and son in law, Sandra "Sam" and Brad Bringle; son in law, Craig Wright; sister, Mae Whiten; grandchildren Sean and Autumn Reagin, Brittney and Mike Cearley, Christy Clark, Branden Macie, Brian Macie, Jennifer and Keith Williams, Anna and Blake Rainwater, Brandie and Clint Gossett and 17 great grandchildren.Funeral Services will be held on Thursday 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Cannon and Cleveland Funeral Directors, 2580 Hwy 42N McDonough, GA 770-914-1414. Visitation will be held Wednesday 4-8 PM at Cannon and Cleveland. Interment with graveside services will be on Friday 1:30 P.M. at First Baptist Memorial Park Cemetery, Westminister, South Carolina.
