Claudia Wisdom Nations, April 22 1926 – December 14, 2014, 88 years young, of Brookhaven Georgia, originally (and proudly!) from Brooklyn, New York.
Survived by daughters Barbara, Linda, Susan and son Robert Nations II, sisters Tillie Tedder of North Carolina and Josephine Fladager of California, grandchildren Warren Lacroix, Michael Lacroix, Jason Meney, Zak George, and Shannon Nations, great-grandchildren Michael Lacroix of Georgia, Nikki, Brooke and Sara Lacroix of Florida, numerous great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by Robert Lee (Bob) Nations, Sr, whom she nursed devotedly through his final years, as well as a daughter Brenda, and beloved sisters Gladys, Virginia, and Ellen.
Claudia had a wonderful, wicked sense and humor and loved watching endless old movies and Judge Judy. She was a master at making beautifully crocheted works of art, and was an inspired designer of handcrafted wall hangings, which she and her late husband Bob sold at the Atlanta Flea Market and in their own shop in the early 80's. She and Bob were also active in real estate investments and lovingly renovated many homes. She loved a good bargain and enjoyed watching the pennies grow in her precious pink coin bank. She loved telling stories of growing up in Brooklyn. She remained sharp and worked hard at maintaining a good attitude through the last several years of an unforgiving illness. More than anything, she loved her family. She will be missed by all.
