Clella Hunt Prante

Mrs. Clella Hunt Prante, 98, died on September 28, 2007 at home. She was the widow of Arthur F. Prante who died in 1970. The family moved from Illinois to Atlanta in 1963. Mrs. Prante had a career in educational textbook publishing both in Chicago and Atlanta. She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and the Faith Sunday School class. She was a charter member of the Oak Grove Chapter of AARP. She is survived by children, Nancy Prante, Atlanta; Jane Prante Heldmann, Charlotte, NC; Paul Prante, Atlanta. There are five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held with Dr. Dan Rice officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to Oak Grove UMC's fund for the Mobile Soup Kitchen, 1722 Oak Grove Road, Decatur, GA 30033. A. S. Turner & Sons
