Cliff Burnett passed away on Wednesday, March 28th. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 75 years, Jeanette Green Burnett. Cliff was born in Rockwood, TN on November 3rd, 1924. He served in the South Pacific during WWII in the United States Navy. He studied to be an accountant after the war and eventually began working for Hewitt Studios, becoming plant manager and helping to expand the business to a national presence. He began his own photofinishing business in 1968, Cliff Burnett Color Labs Inc. which provided photo processing services for professional photographers nationally for almost 40 years. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Delores Suzanne Burnett and is survived by his sons, Clifford F. Burnett, M.D. (Gayle Mason, M.D.) of Roswell, George Burnett (Ellen) of Flowery Branch, Michael Burnett (Kris) of Atlanta and Keith Burnett (Jill) of Dunwoody; daughters, Jean Roberts (Dave) of Stone Mountain and Julie Wilson (John) of Milton; a brother, Marvin A. Burnett of Salisbury, N.C.; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Clairmont Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Clairmont Presbyterian Church in Decatur, Georgia where Cliff and his wife, Jeanette were members for over 60 years. A.S.
