Mr. Clifford W. Knott, of Atlanta, died Saturday, November 5, 2005. He was a Bell South Pioneer, retiring after 35 years of service. After his retirement, one of his greatest joys was being a grandparent. Mr. Knott was a member of Glenn Memorial Methodist Church. He is survived by his sons, Christopher Knott and his wife Allison of Snellville, GA, David Knott and his wife Vicki of Boiling Springs, SC; sister, Miss Sallie M. Knott of Decatur, GA; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 8th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Rev. Mary Lou Gilbert will officiate. Interment Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Hospice Atlanta, 1244 Park Vista Dr., Atlanta, GA 30319 or to AFLAC Cancer Center, c/o Children?s Healthcare of Atlanta, 1687 Tullie Circle, N.E., Atlanta, GA 30329, ATTN: Gift Processing. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
