Clinton Stephen Winter, Jr.

Clinton S. Winter, Jr., 87, of Snellville, died January 26, 2012. Clint was born on June 2, 1924, to Delia and Clinton Winter. He was a graduate of Atlanta's Boy's High. He served during WWII as a Navy pilot. Clint graduated from Georgia Tech in 1949 where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He was a charter member of Belvedere United Methodist Church where he attended for over 60 years. He was a founding partner of Ardd & Winter Incorporated. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anne Winter. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law Dr. Steve and Bunny Winter, son David Winter, daughter and son-in-law Nancy and John FitzGerald; grandchildren Clint and Allyson Winter, Sarah and Matt Summers, Katie FitzGerald and Jesse FitzGerald and great-grandson Wes Summers. Funeral services will be held on Sunday January 29 at 3:00PM in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons. Interment to follow in Winterville City Cemetery, Winterville, Ga. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the North Georgia United Methodist Church Development Fund care of NGUMC.org.The family will receive friends on Saturday January 28 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00PM and again on Sunday from 1:00-3:00PM.
