Col. Paul H. Carpenter, Us Army Ret.

February 10, 1929 — August 30, 2005

Adeline Henderson Lenhardt Foster died Wednesday , August 31, 2005 at DeKalb Medical Center. Born in Toccoa, Georgia, September 12, 1916, she lived in Atlanta most of her life. She retired from C & S Bank in 1976. She was preceded in death by parents, Adeline Turner and Arthur Henderson, brother, Turner Henderson, daughter-in-law, Brenda Lenhardt, and husbands, Edwin Lenhardt and Charles Foster. Adeline was a member of Epworth UMC. For the past eight years, she lived at Arbor Terrace Decatur, where she enjoyed her friendships with residents and staff.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 4, at  A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home at 3:00 conducted by Pastor Lisa Dempsey of Epworth, Rev. Sherl Walls, and Adeline's grandson, Rev. David Lenhardt. She is survived by daughter, Ann Lenhardt Adamson (C.L.); son, Richard Lenhardt; grandchildren, Lisa Bell (Steve) of Charlotte, NC, Alis Albritton (Dale) of LaGrange, Richard Lenhardt, Jr. (Heather) of Snellville, David Lenhardt of Milledgeville, and Doug Lenhardt of Athens; and great- grandchildren, Stephen, John and David Bell, Chris, Sara and Rebecca Albritton; Aidan and Richard Lenhardt, III. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4- 7 pm at the funeral home. For those desiring, donations may be made to Christian Campus Fellowship, 555 N.
