Cora Belle (Cody) Sills Bradford, 88, of Conyers, died Tuesday. She was born to the late Clarence and Willie Sills, Nov. 3, 1920 in Lithonia, GA. Cody married the late Robert Lee Bradford in 1939, and they lived together in Decatur, GA nearly her entire life. Cody was an active charter member of Parkwood Hills Baptist Church in Decatur. She loved children and was an aunt to all the neighborhood children. She is survived by her son, Larry Bradford of Scottdale; sister, Mary Jim White of Lithonia; and a number of nephews and nieces. Her late husband Robert Lee Bradford preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 16, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Parkwood Hills Baptist Church with Pastor J. Sheril Jones officiating. Interment, Dawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at A. S. Turner and Sons.
