Coralie "Corky" Ann Pagoria

August 22, 1941 — March 19, 2021

Coralie Ann "Corky" Pagoria, 79, of Decatur, passed away March 19, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born to Lillian Ann Ulteig and Harvey Ulteig in Long Beach, California on August 22, 1941. She graduated from Central High School in Grand Forks, North Dakota and attended Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Corky is survived by her daughter, Julie Ann Pagoria Katz, son-in-law Steven Bryant Katz and grandson Logan Anthony Katz. She was proceeded in death by her parents and brother, John Ulteig of New Orleans, Louisiana. After a long and successful career at BellSouth, Corky was able to retire and focus on her true passions: faith, family and friends. She worked at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Decatur and devoted her time to serving the parish community. She was involved with many charitable causes, but had a particular passion for Missionaries of the Poor and their dedication to serving the "poorest of the poor". Corky loved traveling with her dearest friends. She strolled Las Ramblas in Barcelona, made pasta in Italy and climbed the mountains of Peru. She arranged for the Botafumerio in the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral and hiked 5 national parks in Utah, enjoying and learning about the people and culture of all the places she visited. Her grandson Logan was the light of her life, and she never missed an opportunity to spend time and make memories with him that he will cherish forever. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Saturday, March 27 at 11 AM. The family requests donations be made to Missionaries of the Poor in lieu of flowers.
